Hello romulation, i want to know if it is possible to rip the music from a ds game. The game I want to rip the music from is Naruto Shippuden: Ninjutsu Zenkai Cha-Crash. I have windows xp and I need to know what programs to use. I also want to know if i can still play the game afterwards or if a ihave to download it again. If theres a tutorial on romulation will someone kindly give me a link to it. If you need to ask questions i'll try to answer them to the best of my ability. :)

well instead of ripping the files yourself you can get music from most games here: http://www.zophar.net/music/2sf.html those are all nds games(not all of the nds games) which has it's music ripped from the rom and you'll need winamp and this plugin to play them back: http://www.zophar.net/download_file/21597 once you install everything you can go to preferences in winamp and go down to output and select Disk Writer, now whatever you play cannot be heard but it will be recorded into a wav file which can then be converted into mp3 or whichever format you need. If you find that you need music or sounds from games that aren't readily available online you can rip them yourself using any of several programs: vgmtrans, vgmtoolbox or ndssndext....if one of them doesn't work try another. You can find them all by using google.

Use something like Tahaxan. Search the extensions on Google for tutorials on how to re-convert it to a standard format.

If that website rchuncleskeleton gave you doesn't work, try http://downloads.khinsider.com because they have at hundreds of OST/CDs on there.
