Hey guys I just learned about an old game that wasn't originally release in the us called Mr. Gimmick. Now I know they found a prototype cartage and now you can buy your own reproduction cartage at: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=105. But what about a rom for it? Reason being playing the europe version on nesds has graphical glitches on the bottom of the screen so I can't see my health. I really want to play this game portable on my ds but not being able to see my health sucks!
Have you already tried using the Japanese version of Mr. Gimmick? The game is basically just a platformer & there are no Japanese scripts in game so you could play it without any concern for getting stuck somewhere in game because you can't read Japanese.
No I haven't, didn't know it didn't matter! Where do I find a proper japanese version rom of mr gimmick? I found one but there where no sound effects when you used a star or anything. =(

If on the NES emulator the form a star action does not have a sound on the Japanese ROM then it might be a game version design thing. But personally that sound is annoying anyway.
