moving an M3 save to the proper cartridge. Is it possible?

Basically I'm getting a DSi and I will be getting Platinum on a proper cart aswell, however I need to know whether I can move my Platinum save on my M3 over to the proper cart and if this is possible how can i do it?

The one thing that might help is that i have an Action Replay Max Duo.

Any ideas?

 

Hmmm, I know you can take the save from FROM the game cartridge and store it onto your flashcart, similar to the way you dump a ROM. But I haven't heard about it going the other way.

If you can do it, you will need a Slot 2 device like the EZFlash 3 in 1, which is how you go from Game to Flashcart.

 

Yes you can do it the other way, which is how people cheat in Championships etc. The saves are generally written outside of the ROM image in their own filesystem, which is why you can grab it or modify easily. There is a tutorial for doing so using something like Rudolph's on that Munroe guy's forum.
