Hello. Recently since I installed .NET Framework 1.3 (or whatever) using the WBFS Manager installation I'm getting problems with my mouse pointer. When it is in normal form (pointer) the "Busy" cursor flashes besides it. I find this very annoying and want it to stop...but I don't know how. Maybe you can help me? OS: Windows XP SP3 RAM: 2 GB Programs running: Opera, Microsoft Security Essentials (hidden), Brother Controlcenter 3 (hidden), Microsoft Visual Basic Express 2010, Linksys Wireless Manager (hidden). Most of them don't need much RAM, except Visual Basic Express. I have one tab open in Opera. If you need any more information ask it.
Eumz..I don't know which ones those are LOL Can't find them either.. Also my pointer just jumps from one place to another sometimes for 3 seconds or so..that has something to do with the actual mouse since my older mouse didn't do this (it broke, wouldn't left-click).
is it a laser pointer mouse? if so, check it for dirt, but DO NOT blow in it, that'll ruin it, also, when you got your new mouse, did you uninstall the drivers for your old mouse? because if not, and they are the same brand, it could be conflicting and/or using the wrong driver...i know this from experience, i had my old drivers for my old mouse, so my new mouse was doing the same thing, but i got rid of my old one because i fucked it up by blowing in it -.-" If it is a mouse that has a ball in it, make sure the ball and the wheel's/mirror is dry, that could also cause issues...
eumz...both are plug-n-play mouses.. No it isn't dirty. It's no wireless one (I wish it was "-.-) and it's a laser one.
hmmmm...are you using it with a mouse pad? if not, that could be the source of the issue i had issues with my first ever laser mouse because i thought it didn't need one -.-"
i have no clue what you mean... but some more questions..what type of mouse is it? Because i know my current mouse fails with XP...
then your mistaking what i mean -.-" the following image should explain it.. The black pad underneath the mouse, it helps it get more precision, and keeps some dust and dirt out -.-"
then that pretty much sums it down to a driver issue, with other options being either software conflicting, or a bad driver installation.. If you look on the bottom of your mouse, you should see a model number...what is that? because we should first off see if it is a bad driver
