ok, while i was besieging a castle, my best vassal lost a fight and became a prisoner, i tried to ask a ransom broker to get him out but it wont give me the option,i tried to rescue him myself ; beating the prison guard and getting the keys but when i get inside he is behind bars. i know u have to talk to him and tell him you gonna get him out, but when i talk to him he just says that he's ready to fight me (or something like that) and my character simply responds "i am not afraid of you"and something else so i couldn't get him out. i was down to my last option ; besieging the castle , but i found out that it was risky as he might become a permanent prisoner if i besiege it. so im asking is it a bug in game that i cant break him out, that i have to take the risk and besiege it? or am i doing something wrong?
1st of all, you should ask this question on the taleworlds forums http://forums.taleworlds.com/ 2nd of all, its probably a bug you cant get past, these things happen.
