Mother #

    Could somebody please explain the storyline connection between this and Earthbound. I've played to what I believe is about half way through the game and I just don't see it.

    Earthbound is Mother 2.

    There has been various theory on this but it's basically like this:

    Spoiler (just a little):
    In Mother (Earthbound Zero), Giegue (Giygas) tried to take over the world. Ninten, Ana, Lloyd, (and Teddy) tried to stop him...)
    In Mother 2 (Earthbound), Giygas strikes back, with more evil in him. :p Our hero this time is Ness, Paula, Jeff, Poo...

    A pretty big spoiler for Mother 3:
    Porky (Pokey from Earthbound) now's back and he's trying to play around with the village.

    That's all... :) The stories doesn't connect one to another very much...
