Give me your best shot at an extremely epic failure, a crazy maneuver, or a stupid AI, anything.

Nothing is excluded here. Heck, you can post about one of the times you died in a game. As long as it's crazy, it's welcome. As many as you can remember, post them. And give good description. We want to be able to FEEL the moment through our computer monitors. It should be powerful enough to knock you off your chair.

My most ridiculous gaming moment would be playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for PS3.
I was playing through the game's levels, just strolling along in Felucia. I had almost made my way out of the top of a giant mushroom resembling a tower, when a sneaky Felucian tried to attack me from behind. I turned around and quickly force pushed him at point-blank range. He hurtled backwards, falling down to the lower level. I continued to watch him as he got up, and charged my way again. Sadly, he strayed to close to the edge, and fell to the layer below that one. (fail) He was out of my view at this point, but I didn't see the words "Felucian Warrior" at the side of the screen to confirm that he had died, so I jumped down to investigate, and guess where I found him?
Hanging precariously off the edge of the floor, his leg stuck between two vines. He was grunting and flailing his arms around, but he couldn't move. I laughed at him for a while, then I got to making a serious decision. What would I do with this fool?
I'd shock him repeatedly of course. I did that, which only drained his health a little each time and made him flail all the more wildly. I pitied him, stupid as he was, so I decided to get him out. Forcibly.
And by "forcibly" I mean with The Force.
I stood by his legs, looking outward at the far wall, and charged up a force push. I released it at full power, and I got him out all right. He flew across the room, smashing against the far wall, which killed him instantly, and then fell to the bottom of the pit.

I apologize for the length. you don't have to write this much, but please share enough so that we understand. ;)

    Megaman Zero Collection

Megaman Zero 2, last stage fighting the Tiger robot (forgot the name, the train one).

he had nearly no life and I decided to kill him with a normal slash just for coolness.

I killed him with an Air slash, and at the same time the death animation started, my controls froze and Zero felt in the hole between the moving boxes.

I was playing Call of Duty United Offensive with my friend, Matt and for awhile it was just us two and then some dude joined in so he came over to my team. It's just the three of us in a large field and stupid me, I chose the BAR when I should have chosen the Springfield. But anyway, I'm talking to my friend via Ventrilo and he's telling me where the other guy is and I fired one blind shot in the guy's general direction with the BAR and I got a headshot.

The only "epic failure" gaming experience I can think of is when I was a little girl playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time. These are what scared me:

I was playing in the basement at night, lights off, all by myself and lo and behold: redeads in the market place. I didn't know what to do. That horrible moan that bellowed out, that rotting brown look to those bones, that spine chilling scream... and the rape. I froze instantly. Too scared to even press the start button on the N64 controller and too shocked to play the sun song to freeze those bastards. What made it worse was being terrified as it was of my basement, since my mom insisted on keeping these awful smiling brother and sister dolls that were completely black, so you could just see those white eyes and red lips... and my dad insisted on keeping a scarecrow that scared me to near tears in the hallway to get upstairs. I couldn't even jump out of my seat and run to the safety of my living room. I was stuck playing the game, but I managed to run in circles for a short while in the marketplace until I was caught. I could've raised my sword to kill one of those creatures, so the others would gather around it and eat it, or whatever they did, but I didn't. I was vulnerable from that girly redead scream and about to be taken advantage of. That one hunched over redead came closer... closer... closer... until he pounced and raped. Link made his "HELP, IT HURTS" yelp he does when being struck by a monster. My hearts went down one by one. The low health beeping started up. I managed to escape by rolling, but to no avail. I was attacked again. Link being butt-hurt collapsed to the floor and that "dun na na na naaa naaaaa" game over music played. The silence afterward kept me in my seat with controller in hand.

That is what kept me from playing Zelda for almost a couple years.

What's worse is how it's pathetically true.

Playing Timesplitters 2 with my friend and we both used monkeys and set all the bots to monkeys with no weapons. And what's more, I chose the scrapyard map where there's a circular arena thingy in the middle and we played 'Super Monkey Boxing' xD

Oh yea, anyone know how I can get a copy of Timesplitters Future Perfect? Can't find it at my place ><

Yeh I remenber the first time I saw these guys.

Worse than that is that I found then first in the cemetery underground. (I passed straight trough then on the city, I didn't noticed they could screen like that).
SO yeh, at night, alone in the computer room outside the main house....
Jezz, My brain freezed that day... until I noticed it was the game.

lol, I hated Redeads. My friend came over awhile ago. I put the computers volume on really high, and changed my "recieved new email" sound for messenger to a Redead scream. Then I emailed myself when she was on the computer.

She screamed. Then threw stuff at me. It was worth it.

An epic fail moment for me was in Bully Scholarship Edition. I was breaking Santa's display and beating up elves with a bat, when Santa tried to tackle me to the ground for the cops. Unfortunately, the game glitched and I was left lying on the ground while a whole load of elves repeaditvely beat the living stupid out of me and taunted me. I wasn't taking any damage, either, and the controls had locked up. I sat there for about 5 minutes, moving the camera around, before I decided to Alt-F4.

    Damn Santa.

    GAH
    Just had one just now.
Was playing splinter cell conviction on pc, doing the DENIABLE OPS mission. Had one last dude left (killed 9 out of 10) and if you make a mistake more reinforcements come. I put my head around the corner to pop the last one while he was ducking back and forth, but then AVG's resident shield started going nuts in the background, causing massive lag. I couldn't put my reticule over his head, and reinforcements came and shot me up :(

We've all had our redead moments, I see.
Oh jeesh, the Royal Family Tomb?! Refuse to go in there. I watched my sister play it and I knew from then on to never enter. And if I remember correctly the music didn't quite scream super-happy-fun-times either.
Sorry to hear you became a victim to those creatures, too.

Those Redeads are twice as annoying when you play as child-Link because your reach is horrible, which means you will probably get stunned before approaching to strike. As an adult, at least you can skip the whole 1000000000 second stun and kill it quickly.

I love it when I have a perfectly timed reverse-Falcon Punch when someone is descending in mid-air. It just screams awesomeness.

Final Fantasy IX. While Garnet was stuck in that plant thing at the Evil Forest. I didn't pay much attention to what Zidane's Dyne abilities were or who they targeted, so seeing as Free Energy cost 10MP and Tidal Flame cost 12MP, I determined that Tidal Flame was the stronger move. What I didn't know was that it targeted all of the targets on the opponents side, and well, Garnet died.

I was at lvl 20 so I decided to go exploring. Some raiders popped out of nowhere and surrounded me. They charged at me, and I took one shot at a guy and they all shat it and ran off screaming "Don't kill me!"
    Pathetic XD

    Let's see:

-Sony taking out their "other OS" option from PS3.
    -PS3 Slim without card reader.
-3DS showed and then pulled off for next year.
-Microsoft pulling away the estimated price for Kinect.
-Xbox 360 S being all glossy.

Or you meant moments in games?

Megaman Zero Collection. Twice I have killed the boss at the same time the boss kills me. Every time that happens, I am like "@#%, Zero, just survive one more #$% hit!"(I do that a lot in games, i dont mean anything by that though) , then I refight the boss.
