Hello, after what happened moments ago, I decided to make a thread dedicated to best deaths done to other's or to you Some ground rules. -Vids are fine as long as it's something you done or similar -Must be against another human, bot's don't die epically enough -Any game where players eliminated each other goes here, so no racing unless it's a battle mode -Name of game must be listed -No exploits unless you just killed someone using a glitch that's meant to make him harder to kill (as in the glitcher being killed mid glitch, not you using one-honorable kills only!) Ok here is what got me hyped up... Lost planet 2. ...in a small tunnel, I was blocking with a shield. Guy from other team taunted me, with a partner next to him ready to fire, I dropped my shield, threw a sticky disc grenade, STUCK TO HIS FACE! All he could do was roll around as it was ticking and his friend, oblivious, firing at the now re-drawn shield. If the poor dude time his rolls right he might of lived, instead BOTH of them died! I bet I can have more moments like these, anyone else want to share some epic stories?
One of my best ones was in MW2, was playing Headquarters in Favela. We had captured the headquarters, and I was the last one alive. An enemy dropped a care package. I shot and killed him. Then three others came running through the ally trying to grab the package. I hopped down from the balcony on top of them, dropping right into the prone position, knifed the guy standing in front of me and shot down the other two. It would have been better had I gotten the care package, but I didn't (the last one I shot picked it up). But my teammates were all laughing at how "awesome" those last kills were.
That's some cool stuff trithRR The shield in lost planet 2 is non lethal, but...I managed to rack up a kill. Ok, same stage, new players, I'm at a data post (like a capture the flag game) guarding it with someone else with me, here comes along a guy with an "energy gun" which is known to stun people and be an utter annoyance. I failed to save him (the guy with me) but he managed to do decent damage to the guy, he tried to take me on (most people forget how much the shield can take-even tank rounds it blocks) but I ended up using the melee attack... Needless to say, spinning around with that thing up the whole time, just as he killed my partner...well it was an awesome way to kill to just knock him down (It can kill but not many use it like this as it has limited range and is meant to repel those coming your way)
The name of this thread disgusts me, but alright: -Kill a running Scout with a Headshot -Gib a flying Heavy two times and finish him off with the shotgun before he falls in the ground -Punch a Heavy three times to death while he's busy killing another Engineer
I was playing star wars battlefront 2 on the naboo map and after talking on the phone i realised i had 10 men left vs around 200. It didn't take long for them to pick my men off so i hid in the corner and took them out one by one and won, it was probably my greatest achievement on any game ever.
erm, no but its pretty good so it deserved a mention. I dont really play against other humans i prefer cooperative multiplayer and there was actually 2 of us left now i remember, 1 guy was sort of stuck in a wall constantly jumping, some glitch or whatever.
I see. For me, a lot of epic kills have to be from DEUS EX.(although single-player). But my most Epic kill has to be in Half-Life, to be specific, the Crossfire map. I was having a LAN deathmatch with my friends and several other guys who happened to be in the cafe. They were all busy killing each others to top the Kill List but I kept running to the bunker, activate the super weapon, climb to the top of the tower, and take control of the artillery to blow them one by one. Fucking amazing. I wasn't the best among them but I topped the list nonetheless. Another one isn't in FPS but in RTS. It's not exactly a kill, but it's more of an annihilation. Company of Heroes was the game. I was playing online against some unknown guy, he choose Axis and I of course had to go with Allies. He dominated most of the match. His tactics was burning my Engineers with Flamethrower-upgraded Pioneers (the German analogue to Engineers) when I ordered them to capture any resource point, then steal my captured points as my Engineers have to retreat to avoid heavy casualties. If that's not annoying enough, he even placed a few snipers in abandoned houses to pick my guys off. I was speechless and cloud not think of anything. I've to retreat and defend points close to my base and reinforced my points. I was forced to do that until I got enough forces to fight back. That didn't work, so I decided to get my guy out there and fight back. I trained 3 squads of riflemen. Yes 3 against tanks!!! But I have upgraded my men with Sticky bomb as well (it's the anti-vehicle detonative) so I concentrated all my forces on one tank at a time and it seemed to work until he used an ability to scare my men back to retreat. At first, I thought that was it, now he can come close to my base and I am done. Luckily, he did not reinforce his resource points and the fact that he channeled all of his resources into tank building caused his infantry to be very weak. I, on the other hand had gained enough resources to build a couple of anti-tank weapons. I knew that it's enough as Company of Heroes is based on counter unit. Anti-tank+riflemen with sticky bomb and concentrate on one tank at a time is a major ownage!!! Tanks are slow and there were only a few left. Tanks also means a lot of resources and population cap (meaning that you can't build a lot of troops) and when going against a mobile force with an anti-vehicle weaponry is a big, big mistake even if you controlled most of the resources in the game. By then, I've gained enough experience to be allocated in the special ability unlock called "company". I choose the air-bone company. The paratrooper squad is the most amazing thing in the game. Once you've unlocked them, you can drop them anywhere in your territory. I first dropped a two squad near my base. Then, I dropped supply (resources aid) for them to collect which means my resource was increasing without really having to control all the resources in the map. I used that to drop more paratroopers, upgraded my engineers with flamethrower and used them to pull a revenge on my opponent's weak army( albeit still strong tanks). He tried to recuperate but by that time, I had re-seized most of the resource points. That means my territory had also expanded close to his base. With that and the streaming amount of income I had, I dropped a few more paratroopers and upgraded all of my paratrooper squads with anti-tank RPG. They can bomb building as well, by using a timed explosive called Sachel charge. With that, I annihilated him by a storm of weak but versatile troops pawning and dominating a handful of infantries supported by a few tanks in front of their own base then used a few rain of destruction from the air in the form of bombing runs. That was the first time I felt like a genius. I might have killed a lot of guys in FPS matches but winning a losing RTS match against a better guy is very very mind-blowing, even if its rare. I felt like a general that had just won a World War II mission.
playing Halo on the LAN at school, it was a team deathmatch in blood gulch I think. All my team charged the other base except me, and one of the opposing team was up in a banshee strafing them. He noticed I wasnt among the attackers and said on chat 'Where's Nala?' seconds before I shot him out of the banshee from my team's base, where I'd been hiding with a sniper rifle. Also in CoD on the LAN, one guy was so inept that I followed him around repeatedly headshotting him with a pistol.
There were explosions, bright flashing lights, evil laughs, "NOOOOOOOOO"s and manly tears. Does that count?
Not epic but definitely funny xD Me and my friend were playing Timesplitters 2 on the street map. We were playing deathmatch with other bots and only bombs were allowed. We were mostly using those(forgot the name) bombs that you throw and it activates when someone runs near it. My friend somehow found a safe spot inside a building and tossing bombs out through a window racking up kills incredibly quickly. Unluckily for him, I found him(owh, I forgot to mention he was using the monkey character). I stuck a bomb onto his back and ran away without him realising it. Few seconds later, the bomb went off and he died. He was like WTF?!?!?! and I couldn't help but start laughing like crazy xD the fact that he was using monkey was even funnier xD
I remember my most epic kill was in GunZ. It was 2 VS 16. Me and a good friend were being chased down by 16 other mad, naked people. Yes they were naked, naked and armed. We were like running all over the place to dodge their bullets, and we took them out one by one, Metal Gear Solid style.
I love funny deaths Here is a good one, again lost planet 2. Some guy was going for a data post (respawn points) with body armor on, here i am in an x-seed (like the "faze" I love) that's cloacked (it's hard to miss...it's big...and only partially invisible) and I "do a super mario" ans jump on him, I shattered the armor..he throws a grenade... I jump out of the way , fire a smoke cloud...and the idiot went back to take the post. Again, super mario for thw win Shame we lost (we thumped them 1500-2800, but the first stage was 1000 3000 ) but I got good points out of it.
I got another in Counter Strik 1.6. My cousin(on the same team) "killed" me >< We were playing one of the dust map(forgot which one) and we went left to the balcony area to wait our opponents to show up and hopefully tried shoot 'em down. My cousin fooled around and shot the wall above my head. I turned to look at him/the wall and at that exact moment an enemy sniper appeared and head shot me -.- and my cousin went and to survive and killed 2 guys...
Cross-Fire: There's this mode called "Ghost mode" Where you kill invisible people and all, and try to stop them from planting a bomb using only a melee weapon. I was on the team that was visible, but with guns. Me and my team spawned at the bottom, and this guy and me went up the stairs to where the ghosts spawned. He decided to throw a grenade, and the grenade blew up in my face, and I was left with 12 HP. Then, a ghost came flying at me, and I tried to back up, but the guy was still there, and I got knifed.
For some reason the name of this thread reminds me of war veterans sitting around in rocking chairs. Back on topic: Me and a friend were playing Halo 3 slayer match in Cold Storage with half shields. He'd picked up the Plasma sword and camouflage and was camping in a corner. I walked through the doorway next to him and out of the corner of my screen I saw this flash of light; in the next second I turned, ducked and melee attacked killing him. My first Bulltrue *sniff*... good times
If you are about to talk about epic wins/loses I remenber one lose. Was playing S4 League in the reaper-like mode. (small explanation: You get a immortal and overpowered character and you need to kill the rest of the players alone and with a time-limit) Probably didn't tok me 2/3 of the time to finish off everyone, but the last one found a small room (chaped in "U"). He managed to keep running in circles until mytime ran over... So boring >_>
