    Okay, now something is seriously up with this download. Every time it gets go 1Gb or higher it just stops then cancels. Am I the only person having trouble downloading this file?

    Apparently you are the only one since others aren't downloading it.
    Try using a download manager.

    Rule of thumb, use a manager for anything that is worth 100mb's or more.
