Monster Hunter is my favorite game of all time. It's amazing, and I put 400+ on Monster Hunter Freedom that I'm actually pretty good :)

What do you guys thinks of the game? Is it actually the shit? Or is it just me? :)

    It's a really good game.

Thing is, people quit too early to see the amazing game that it is.
They find the controls to hard. That's the point of Monster Hunter. To Adapt. Once you're adapted to the game, it's bloody awesome.

I know right? I remember the first time i solo'd an Akantor... I was walking on clouds :) It was with a great sword too. i would't use anything other than one :)

The graphics are good, the gameplay is good, the monsters are awesome, the weapons and armor are amazing! And the multiplayer is great. It's a well rounded bombshell in my opinion :)

And I'm super frickin excited for monster hunter frontier (I think) to come to the 360! :D

Yup, the japanese have gotten it...

Thing is, I think it's a digital download...and it's just an enhanced port of an older one...

Or so I thought I read.

...I like the game, got freedom unite on psp, but it's younger sister game (lost planet) is awesome, same game but less rpg/level up aspects.

Monster Hunter Tri has the best online play.

I haven't played Tri yet, but I've been dying to! How is it? I've heard mixed reviews.

I do believe that it's a whole new game, with less stuff than frontier, because frontier was basically and add on to unite.

    I read good.

The series always has had slow movements and at times feels like it needs people playing...if you have patience...then no matter the review, it's gonna be good.

I'm so used to land fighting, It might take some time to get used to underwater fighting though.

But i'm sure i'd pull through and bag me some swimmin monsters ;-)

    It's actually more difficult.
And with the addition of the Switchaxe.

monster hunter is great, but it take too much time, plus once you stop playing, you will lose your hunter sense.

I don't understand people and being "Rusty". You can't lose the feel for the game over a year. Unless you have like dementia or something. Just pick up the game and immediately you should know how to beat the wyverns, considering that you've beaten the wyvern before.

I guess you would be a little rusty, but after a few minutes you should be back on track.thats how I was when I stopped playin tri for a month.

I love the game but I hate soloing missions. If possible, I prefer to hunt in parties. I love the teamwork involved with taking down the Elder dragons, especially big guys like Shen or Lao.

I can only play it in "solo" because I don't know anyone that have a PSP

and I can't kill the golden rathian e silver rathalos in the arena
(I try it about 30-40 times)

and the mission of the guild with the two diablos...
    :-(

    LOL

But I really love this game

I spent 50 hours on Freedom 2 before I stopped playing. I liked the game, but I couldn't beat Kut-Ku or Congalala despite how much i tried xD
Also Tri is pretty good. The online multiplayer is fun xD
