Narrowed down decisions: Hey guys ...looking for a bit of monitor assistance: ASUS VS239H-P – mwave (online order) – $199.00 inc. GST E-IPS 5-8MS – 23" Benq GL2450HM – umart (pickup) – $188.00 – TN – 2MS – 24" Asus VS248H – umart (pickup) – $189.50 – TN – 2MS – 24" LG IPS235P-BN – umart. E-IPS. 23" ..very relucctant to this model though as the blacks in my current model dont seem very good and it has moulded my opinion for LG :S all vesa mountable which is needed..hence the reason i no longer can consider the Samsung S24B300H as an option no longer even though it has a static contrast of :3Million:1 Mainly used for Fast paced film watching,Dark Film Watching,PC Gaming (mainly third person and FPS) and xbox gaming (Xbox HD VGA Cord) (E.g Borderlands 2) / I do like glossing but its not needed Upgrading from a LG E2441 ,Blacks not deep enough, colours washed out ..viewing straight on. Any Guidance/Help? Inputs : Xbox HD VGA,PC – GTX560Ti MiniDSub – HDMI converter with a 1.4v HDMI Cable. Would be very very much appreciated.
pretty much all monitors are VESA mountable the two best companies for monitors are samsung and viewsonic.
i really wanted to get the samsung monitor after everything ive been reading but it doesnt seem to be mountable Samsung S24B300H
Samsung's cheap models don't seem to be mountable, you might want to consider increasing your budget.
Benq GW2450HM VA Panel 4ms GTG 1920x1080 HDMI DVI SPK VA LED Monitor $169.00 Reviews seem mixed but it seems theres a new revision/firmware upgrade on all models sold after June 2012 so do u think the blacks will be better than my LG TN? with less ghosting with AMA Set to premium and overall a good monitor? 4ms GTG response time 10ms Max ...thats fine because im playing on a 14MS very old TN panel Dell atm so yer ...monitor good for PC via HDMI and Xbox via HD VGA?
Since it has LED ligthing, colors will be better. 4 ms response time is a little odd, most monitors either have 2 or 5 ms. I advise you to do some research on it.
http://forum.notebookreview.com/accessories/295912-review-dell-e248wfp-screen-24-1920x1200-resolution.html I have found out the current model i use is a 24" E248WFP LCD with 5ms response time TN although my monitor has ghosting now... would the 2MS BENQ GL2450HM TN Panel recreate the same blacks i use in the above panel but with better Colours and brightness because of the LED?
