Moding the Wii

    what is the best, essayist and safest way to mod the wii? i have the red wii model if that makes any difference. also, the method has to let me be able to load games from a external HDD.

    You'd have to load games via HDD because your Wii doesn't read burned DVDs.

    I suggest the Homebrew Channel, then Pimp My Wii. It'll help you install the latest IOS' and cIOS' to your Wii.

    so basically all i have to do is..install the homebrew channel, install pimp my wii, cIOSX, and cIOS222 and i'll be able to play backups? btw are there any youtube tutorial vids that you would recommend for this?

    You just have to install the Homebrew Channel, and Pimp My Wii does the rest. No need for anything else.

    And no, I wouldn't suggest any youtube videos. I learned by reading and trial/error with other methods.
