Modern Warfare: Mobilized "local multiplayer" help!

me and my friend both have the same version of MW2:M on the DS downloaded from here and when we try "local multiplayer" we cant join each others games. Could this be because that he has a DSlite and i have the ORIGINAL DS? ps we both have R4's and the same firmware

anywho, also we tried to play against eachother on a bleach game and that worked fine, please help.

 

You know that one of you two has to choose Host and the other one has to choose Join.

 

XD Kiekoes is right! If you can't join eachothers games because your both doing Host or Join! lols

 

We did fool I hosted and he join, then we try the other way round XD

 

You can't play Local Wireless with R4's I believe.

 

Groh it can. I have a R4 and i can.
maybe it's because you have the EU version and your friend the US ??
If not: Delete the games from both the R4's and download a new version.
I had the same problem and it worked.

no no no i know it listen!.. if you have downloaded the Uversion and your friend downloaded the E versions you can't join each ohter games try to get both U or E version

 

that's not it!!! They're all the same, just different language settings.Trust me it's either something wrong with your R4 or something else I don't know about.

 

My brother and I did also played that game together...
I have a black DS lite with R4, firmware = 1.18
My brother has a silver DS lite with R4 , firmware = 1.18
We both downloaded the (U) version, languege settings = both american english
So I can't believe there's a problem...
Maybe you didn't upgrade your R4 to 1.18...
