That list is just a few of my games, and I've been getting this problem with a few recently. The ones badly circled in orange have no real icon. And I am sure that the icon was there the first few days of installing it. Is there any way to get back the Icons? I'm on Windows 7 home premium.
Your problem is that Windows hasnt got an installed program to open it with-thats how you get that Icon.You look to have broken the file association and need to get it back.
Its when you double click on a file it will ask you to choose a program to open with it,or youll have to search for one. Double click on one of your problem Icons,and youll see what I mean. I cant be more help cos Ive no idea what the stuff is you HAD on your pc.....
I can open them... I just finished the first mission in Crysis Warhead... I just can't see those icons.
its a corrupt icon cache most likely. in that case rebooting should fix it. if not, open the shortcut properties, click 'change icon', then browse, go to the program directory and select the main executable. That should fix the icon.
