First off, sorry if I posted this in the wrong area.

Mini VMac is a Mac emulator. For DS.

Now then, I've done everything here: http://lazyone.drunkencoders.com/mac_hd_howto.html, then placed the .ROM file and mac_hd.img into the data folder but I still get a "Error: Failed to initialize file system" error. I'm using an R4. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Never mind, I just discovered it doesn't work with Slot-1 Cards. But then, why does the download have a .ds.gba file AND a .nds file?

Ugh, please inform your self by reading articles.

It only works on slot 2 cards because the program needs the extra ram that's included for loading gba games.

There's a .gba because that's how the supercard boots up nds files.

No, I was asking why there was a .nds file. Aren't those for Slot-1?

no, the .nds file is the actual rom.

Oh, okay. But, if it was unusable, why did they include it? I mean, they could have a separate download for someone who wants to play around with it.

The .nds file can be used with the M3 Perfect
