It's in alpha. Currently survival mode and creative mode are free to play.
I suggest you go play creative mode mutiplayer since it's fun to play with other people.

The end product will be pay to play though but for now, it's free.
Buying it early gets you into the latest build of indev and infdev. It also lets you make your own character skins.

As I said, it's really interesting. It has more features in full version, shame I'm not getting it xP

 

I'll try it out later. PSO BB apparently has a stupid name system like in Dragon Quest I where your character's stats depend on the name.

Rysi0 is apparently good at finding Slicers.

No... Slicers aren't good for Rangers. I used a name with a "VIRIDIA" ID. It can get shotgun weapons. Funny, the name is STFU.
