Miles Edgeworth Black Screen on Case 3

I'm using R4 v1.18 (Without YSMenu or any other things, just the kernel from the original R4 Website). During Case 3 "The Kidnapping Turnabout" at the intro scene as Edgeworth was about to enter the Stadium instructed by the kidnapper the whole screen (Both the touch screen and the normal screen) just turned black and freezed. I tried reformatting my MicroSD card but still it won't work. Any suggestions to solve my problem??

P.S. I would like to know what is YSMenu for the R4 and the other 'add-ons'. Thanks in advance.

Ysmenu is a modified DSTT firmware that can run on the R4. You can run it as your main firmware, or you can just run the menu from inside the R4 firmware like you would a game. It's easier to run as a secondary firmware, rather than the main firmware.

I've heard reports of this game working on R4 1.18 and R4 with Ysmenu. Your freezing may be caused by MicroSD issues, so you could backup and format your MicroSD, restore all the files and try again. If you install the Ysmenu firmware you should backup and format your MicroSD anyway.

 

i backed up my games/saves and formatted my microSD card already and the same problem exists. I already stated this in my first post.

 

So try Ysmenu.

 

Okay. I've updated my R4 Kernel to v1.23 from http://www.r4li.com and started a new game. Now i'm able to continue pass that point. Thanks for your help.
