Well, I have Pokemon Platinum on my DSTT, and I was wondering, how do I unlock the "Migrate from Sapphire/Ruby etc." option? Because I have some really pwnage Pokemon on Sapphire, and I'd love them on my Platinum. Please help!
...After you beat the elite 4, you gotta visit pal park (where the whole grind of the migration is held) at least once... Talk to the guy and he will explain a few things (I think-it's been ages) and off you go-you can even fly directly to the place as a bonus! But only 6 a day from one game pak...so if you want more than 6...have many carts
1. Beat the Elite Four 2. Get the National Pokédex 3. Get to the Pal Park (Surf down from Twinleaf Town) 4. Migrate. 5. Catch. 6. Change DS Clock. 7. Migrate 8. Catch etc.
To migrate from any GBA game to either Pearl, Diamond. or Platinum you need the GBA game pak, either one of your DS card, and a plain old ordinary DS or DS lite! ;v)
A difficult part of getting to Pal Park is the fact you have to encounter all 210 of the regional Pokemon first before you can receive the National Pokedex. Here's an awesome FAQ from GameFAQs that has a guide within it to find every regional Pokemon before receiving the National Pokedex. Changing the DS clock will actually cause the timer to reset to 24 hours on all carts, regardless of the last time you transferred. Trust me. I've tried it before.
