Hey there, guys and gals. Long time no see, heh? Well, I have a problem here: I have recently installed my PIRATED copy of Microsoft Office 2007 on my Windows XP SP2 computer. I have uninstalled my previous Office (2003, which was also pirated) and installed 2007 more or less a week ago and I have faced a crucial problem (for me): the orthographic correction. You know, the thingy that displays a red underlined when some word is misspelled? It doesn't show. I have checked every menu that I know of, but still warn me of any of the boxes I need to tick, no matter how obvious they are. It might be of some help that when I go to that box in which you select the idioms you want to use, the language Portuguese (Portugal) does NOT have that small tick with the letters ABC on it, unlike Portuguese (Brazil) or English (USA). My first guess would be there is something wrong with the installing, but I have already uninstalled it and installed it again, just to make sure. So, any guesses, folks? I hope so. Thanks in advance, jin kazama
you probably don't have the correct dictionaries installed. I have no idea why you'd get rid of 2003 anyway, 2007 is crap by comparison.
I need Publisher, some new functions from Word 2007 and an Office compatible with .***x files. Otherwise, 2003 would be kicking ass back here. Anyway, how do I get that done? Do I need to install it again?
Yeah, I have already noticed it's slow, 2003 opening was nearly instantaneous. Do you have any guesses, Anand?
theres a compatibility pack to allow 2003 to open docx, and office 2003 has publisher if you have the right discs. (you need the professional version)
reinstall (full custom install), but if the dictionaries aren't in there you've got the wrong language version.
