microSD help?

    Does the microSD card being fuller or emptier affect the performance of the DS?

    Yeah I don't think a MicroSD having more space will affect the performance lol. Or having less space, I don't think you could tell the difference if it was affecting it. As long as you have some space left, I think you'll be okay.

    no, however constantly moving files on and off the card will, This causes the card to become fragmented., though formatting the card will fix any read write slow down that might be caused by this.

    I didn't know flash memory could be fragmented. Stupid me. I thought it was only hard disk drives. :p

    You could use the disk defragmenter, couldn't you?

    Then i would suggest backing up everything on your card onto your Hard drive and then Formatting it

    Well don't format you hard drive, meant your MicroSD. Just saying that because i might have worded that wrong :p
