micro sd issue?

    my micro sd got the "write-protected" thing
    i have 2 micro sd to usb adapters which came with mine and my brother r4
    neither worked with my microsd
    the adapters don't have the lock button
    other cards works
    someone know how to unlock it?

    sorry for the bad english -i'm brazillian-

    They must be a very small switch on your microsd card somewhere!

    No.

    Usually when a MicroSD becomes corrupted or begins to fail, it will start showing up as "Write Protected" even when your adapters do not have a write protection switch, or the switch is Off.

    You need to backup any files on your MicroSD, and then try to Format it. Either with Windows, or using an SD Formatter like the one found here: http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/

    If it will not format with either of those methods, and you tried multiple adapters, then the MicroSD has probably failed, and you need to buy a new one.

    i had the same issue with my new SDHC R41 i used a different USB stick to formate the chip, it seemed have done the trick

    Be curfull, that a original R4 revolution for DS can only take a 2gb card max
