    I finished the MGS CD1. Ok, that's good.

    But, when I put the CD2 to play, it doesn't work!

    I'm playin' it on the PS2. I has something to do with that?

    Help me, please!

    Need some details...

    1.Real disc or burnt?

    2.What write speeds did you use (if burnt) ?

    3.What brand disc (if burnt) ?

    4.What exactly happens?

    1 -> Burn

    2 -> I used UltraISO and there, it says 'Maximum'. [has another option that says '48X/7200KBs', that second faster, I suppose]

    3 -> EMTEC disc.

    4 -> It asks me: 'Insert DISC2'. When I insert it, it says, 'The correct disk is not inserted, Insert DISC2'. The same happens if I do the opposite order in CD's. [CD1 to CD2 ~ CD2 to CD1]

    Help me, man!

    Hrm...normally I'd suggest img burn...I dislike magic iso, and make sure the disc is infact disc 2 and not disc one again...I done that before :(

    Try placing disc 2 by it's self and see what comes up.

    And use the SLOWEST speed next time :)

    Let me see...

    You're suggesting me to burn CD2 and CD1 or just CD2?

    Just 2...BUT!

    Try the second disc you already have...on it's own.

    Turn off the system, and just throw 2 in.

    See if it even loads the disc, then try again with disc one swapping.

    Just a diagnostic to see if it's the ps2 or disc that is at fault.

    Oh, I understand...

    Well, my CD2 works perfectly.

    The major problem is: I can't swap them when when I'm playing.

    Do you think that could be somthing else?

    That might be the PS2's problem.

    My PS2 also has problem when swapping PSX disc on certain games.

    It could be the mod chip...

    What mod chip is it, and any idea what the firmware for it is?

    Mine is a modbo, with matrix 1.97 (I think) on it, have yet to try mgs on it.

    Got the gamecube remake you see XD
