Tried without using a flash cart inside it?

How old is it, prehaps the internal save battery that controls the date's is screwed up...

So it's the flash cart then, ok progress made...

No wonder.Sorry to say this man but R4's are duds your better off getting a new flashcart that is not R4 related.

But perhaps that's not the problem.

It could have to do with the R4's auto-boot functionality, but I never did have that problem with my DS Phat.

    r4 or r4i?

    Prehaps.

We'd need more info...and more importantly has the r4 worked on any other dsi system-it may need a firmare patch if the dsi is on 1.4

Pretty sure that's why he's asking, since this flashcart won't work on this users DSi :)

    You replied in the quote?

I'm confirming if THEY have an r4 or r4i, to eliminate all the causes of the date issues, there are still people with dsi's that use non-dsi cards on them.

    You beat me trithRR XD

I googled the problem and found the answer. All I had to do was to change the date on my Ds a few months back, and hey presto! Thanks for your time and help people....

    I
It amazing what google can do if you try using it,
I guess most just ask the questions on forums first before looking for an answer
Some times there might not be an answer on google so, meh
