I think Megaman Zero 4 GBA version was great. Final boss was hardcore, even on normal. On hard it was like impossible, had to use a lot of action replay, lol.

I can't decide wich one I like best. I like almost every Megaman games.

Megaman in my opinion is suposed to be hardcore. :)
Just try the old-school Megaman for NES.

The OP forgot the original series, which is the absolute best :p

MegaMan Battle Network (includes all BN games) - Stupid - Mega Man is a ROBOT, not a stupid software :p

MegaMan X & ZX (includes all MMX & ZX games) - Only the first 3 X games are considered great, the second three were stretching it & the others that followed were crap. ZX seems fine though.

MegaMan Starforce (includes all MMSf games) - Meh :p

MegaMan Zero (includes all MMZ games) - I absolutely hated the shitty "human falls in love with a robot" plot in the game :p

    The games you forgot:

Mega Man - THE FUCKIN' BEST!

Mega Man Legends - Second best :)

I wasn't aware that there was a romance there. :| Implied, maybe. But that was it.

    Any Megaman side-scroller except for:
    Megaman X 7 and 8
    Megaman ZX Advent.
Everything else was fine. Including the Zero series.

Starforce was just terrible compared to Battle Network.

I had Megaman Legends 2, but I was too young to give a fuck about it, since I always had a hard time with it. :\

  12. Cahos Rahne Veloza

It wasn't implied. I forgot which Mega Man Z game the story was in but there were actually two characters, a Human & a Reploid, who were very much in love.

Now that I think about it, there was a reploid that looked like an old man. The old man said that he loved the woman until her death, even trying to look as she was just for the heck of it. Was that it?

The BN series ended in 2005/2006.
And with Megaman's current...status, he likely won't get another BN or Starforce game. Or anything at all.

Yes I think that's the one, I've already forgotten which Z game the story was in because that kind of plot really irks me a lot. Robots are supposed to be ridden, can transform &/or can combine into something more badass, not something you can stick your boner in & relieve sexual tension just because you are a loser who can't get some with the real thing. "People falling in love with robots" is just a sick pervert's excuse of a plot & we have Homer (was it him, or some other Poet?) to thank for starting this kind of plot when he wrote the tale of Pygmalion & Galatea :p

I like the X series the best, minus X6 and X7. Those two can burn in hell, or should I say: "Burn! Burn! Burn to the ground!!"

It is interesting to note that Mega Man X6 was created to advertise both Mega Man X7 & Mega Man Z. Depending on which ending you get, you'd either get the ending explaining how Zero ended up in suspended Animation at the beginning of the first MMZ game:

Or the "oh so meh" ending that leads to Mega Man X7:

Isn't love something else far greater than this? :\

    OT:

The NES classics were definitely the best.

The BN series was good up until the 3rd game, IMO. X series was nice, but I liked it from X4-6 :p Starforce? Meh. MM Zero was ok (liked 1 and 4 best, probably coz I haven't fully played 2 and 3 lol) ZX? Meh.
