At least in RomU there's no Megeman Star Force 1 or 2, but there is a MegaMan Star Force Dragon (1292), a MegaMan Star Force Leo (1293) and a MegaMan Star Force Pegasus (1294). According to the release ID (in brackets), the Megaman Star Force 1 is Megaman Star Force Dragon and the second one is Megaman Star Force Leo. Never mind, it exists, but it's not in RomU.

First question, are you using an emulator or flashcart?

If flashcart, backup all your data and reformat, then update your firmware by going to http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ds/. If emulator, change the save type accordingly in Emulation Options.

Then just change the save type in Emulation Options. Since you have 2.6a, choose Auto option.

no$gba 2.6a has an "Auto" option for the NDS Save File. So you will never find the specific save byte ever.

There should be, if there wasn't the games would be the same, so, why two titles?

Have you already set the save type to auto?

Well, I made a no$gba 2.6a tutorial, so you might want to check it. https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php/topic,6485.0.html If you still don't know what to do, I'll try and post some pictures here.

About the differences, I don't know about them, as I never liked Megaman very much. But I found this topic on the GameSpot forums, you might want to check it out. http://www.gamespot.com/ds/rpg/megamanstarforce/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-41081366&pid=935703 Hope that works :)

Then change it to Auto which should work for nearly every game.

    leontk Well-Known Member

say does the toturial configuraiton puts it on auto

  17. anandjones

    anandjones Well-Known Member

Yeah I think so, just do it yourself, you don't really need the tutorial that much.

    leontk Well-Known Member

oh cuz i dont seem to understand something you see my no$gba says some error about fatal what does it mean and also ill try the toturial

That probably means the ROM image crashed. Try another NDS or GBA ROM, and then in Emulation Options, change the save type to Auto, then reset. If it works, save the settings.
