nero won't burn those formats as far as I know. You need Alcohol 120% (or the cut down version maybe) to mount it as a virtual CD drive then ePSXe can play it. For burning, Alcohol 120% again, and imgburn may be able to burn those formats.

Well, MDS = "starter" for an image, for lack of better term. It's like a .cue.
MDF is an Alcohol 120% image file.

This of course means that the game was ripped with Alcohol120 and thus creates some compatibility problems with ePSXe. What you'll need is a tool called Daemon Tools. It's any pirate's left wing. If not for emulation, then for PC ISOs. Right, anyways, using DaemonTools is fairly simple: install, click the exe, right click the tray DT logo (thunderbolt thing), then click 'Virtual CD/DVD-Rom' and set the number of devices to at least two. Then left click the DT icon in the tray, select your blank virtual drive and mount the MDS (the starter file, ya?)

Right, so then in ePSXe again click File > Run CDRom. You may need to configure your Cdrom plugin in the Config drag-down in ePSXe to load the correct drive.

Edit: Loony beat me, gar! Yeah, if you want to burn it use the source program, Alcohol 120%. Google it~.

Thanks for the detailed advice, however the problem is...my cd driver setting for epsxe, I currently installed the -mooby2 cd 2.8 driver into the cd>folder>epsxe. But when i try and put the cd in, it restarts my computer!!! somthing obviously isn't configured correct.

I herd im missing a folder calles d-tools ??? what the hwck is that supposed to do? I can only get these iso. img. bin's to work, but not a psx cd's ! (o last thing, can u get a copied cd to work in epsxe?

Real CDs (whether originals or copies) will only play if you have a CD-writer drive. They will not work in CD/DVD-ROM or CD-ROM drive. To play from image files, you need a program called daemon tools as mentioned by Void. Your CD plugin must be in the plugins folder within the the ePSXe installation.
