Hi, I'm in grade 11 at the moment and i am studying maths C I have received an assignment for it and its about groups. I know absolutely nothing about groups, the question is Consider the set {a,b,c,d} and it falls under any operation, (don't know how to make that symbol, its like an "o") the set is displayed within a Cayley table and forms an abelian group the table is: o | a | b | c | d | a | _ | _ | _ | _ | b | _ | c | _ | _ | c | _ | b | _ | _ | d | _ | a | _ | _ | thats what the table given looks like it says: "you should be able to find more than 1 solution if we assume that there is only 1 solution allowed, which solution would you selct? justify your answer. i do not get this at all ==" any help would be muchly appreciated thanks ps. i need a lot of help with school work ==
