I have no idea if you guys are 'proffessional' enough to help me but whatever..

I got my new PC a few days ago and i havent even been able to start up windows.
It boots, shows the 'starting windows' logo (win7 Home Premium) and it flashes and all of a sudden i get a 'blue screen of death' saying something about atikmdag.sys. This is very irritating. I then start up in safe mode, it boots to windows and then says 'setup cannot complete in safe mode please restart PC'. And then i go in the same circle.

I have an ATI HD4850,AMD athlon X2 quad core,4GB ram and Win7 64bit Home Premium.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks!

    Pic just like my screen:

you're finding out first hand why ATi are crap: their drivers are way too unstable. I can only suggest that you reinstall the ati drivers (use onboard video to get the system to load without the graphics card, if you can), and if it happens again try modified drivers such as the ATi Omega drivers. These tend to be more stable than the official drivers.

if you have onboard video, enable it and remove the graphics card, and windows should not load the ati driver. If not and you dont have a spare graphics card, you may have to repair windows/reinstall

; Ill just bring it back to the shop, if i remove the graphics, my warranty is void. Thanks anyways.
