MODS - Possibly in wrong area, thought best to put it here, move it if it's not Basically, I've been playing the pokémon games for as long as I can remember (I played blue when it came out ) but recently I've been playing the DS games and I have grown a 'bond' with my pokemon from the previous versions (Platinum --> HG --> Black) Using Pokesav I have 'migrated' the pokemon from platinum to heartgold and manually edited each of the pokemon to have my OT as I did technically raise them. I did not, however, migrate them over to black as I did not have the time to manually edit the files of the 80-odd pokemon I have on HG (including platinum ones). I am now playing black 2 and would like to use all the pokemon I have caught, without having to import them into another game to trade, and even then the OT would be different... I would like to migrate all pokemon into black 2 and with my OT (apart from the event pokemon I have obtained) does anyone know of a program that can mass-edit the trainer information in the pokemon without affecting anything about the pokemon? I have tried using pokegen, but it changes the pokemon to abomasnow or adds loads of F's on the end of the pokemons name when I import it into the save. Thanks for any assistance you guys can give
There's a difference between *.pkm files from 4th generation games and *.pkm files from 5th generation games, that's why your Pokemon get corrupted. You can properly convert them form 4th gen *.pkm to 5th gen *.pkm with a programm called Poké Transfer (download). Just drag and drop 4th gen *.pkm files on to the exe. But as far as I know there is no programm to mass-edit trainer information.
