Mario & Luigi: BiS + YSMenu fix Help

Greetings, a friend of mine has been having problems playing the M&L: BiS ROM on her original R4 1.18 with the YSMenu fix showed in this post: https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=22731.msg374957#msg374957

It says "Errcode=-82 Rom Loading Failed" when she tries to open it with YSMenu after she did all the steps. I even gave her my files since it's working for my R4 1.18, but she gets the same results...

Is there any way to fix this for her? Thanks in Advance.

try formatting your sd,then re-applying the games ect.

Is see using the right size of sdcard for a original R4, 2GB it can only take.. anythink bigger might have fault's

 

Here are some instructions that are easy as 1,2,3.


First backup and delete everything off your Micro SD card.

Then Download this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9HZ8DTVK

After, unzip the folder, then put the contents of it on your Micro SD card, and add the CLEAN "Bowsers Inside Story" rom inside the "games" folder.

Run your R4 in your ds, then select it, and it should perfectly.

If this doesn't work (THOUGH IT SHOULD) just read my sig.

I really hope it will work on my R4 cos i've been trying out all every avaliable methods but i still can't play M&L. *-*!!!
May i ask if i need to put all my other games into the games folder as well?
And perhaps all new games released from now on will have to be done by Ys menu this way?

it is bcos i need to format my sd card to Fat 32/16 or other problems?

Thanks for the fix. Could you post an M3 Simply-compatible YSMENU, please? When I load this with my card, it says it's not compatible, since it's based on the R4 firmware.

it should work, if not, look into the later posts. i found a DL link that had my stuff that worked fine.

 

Ya i have tried them, what flashcart are you using?
