Mario Kart Double Dash Gamecube Burn errors on start up

I am having an issue with playing certain titles that I have burned. I downloaded the ISO for Mario Kart Double Dash, I used Imageburn to make the disc, which I burned at 1x speed and booktype DVD-ROM. I am trying to play this title on my WII which has a Drive Key modchip inside. This chip loads all of my Wii backups and imports just fine, as well as other titles that I have burned from GC ISO's. But when I start Mario Kart the game begins to start up and then flashes a red screen that reads "Error reading game disc turn off your gamecube and refer to owners manual" with Mega Man X collection, I do all listed above for the burn process, the game loads I can get to the game select screen, I choose the game I wish to load then the screen goes black. I am not 100% sure whats wrong, maybe a bad ISO? Or is there a trick or a patch required for these files? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks!
