This thread even use no$gba as a method to bypass the Icepeak park, for a real DS.
You may want to use the method listed there.

I know, but since the no$gba in that thread seems to allow you to bypass the Icepeak area, maybe you can give it a try.

Or maybe you want to try other emulators such as Desmume.

But dose he mean after the cannon at the second part - are when you jump into it it crash and freeze?

If you are using a R4 card , try upgrading to wood R4 v1.12 are ysmenu - if not look for the latest kernal for your card

If you are using the no$gba .sav ?

Settings would be in compressed format, not raw

Remember the name of the rom must match to save file, and use a backup copy of your save

EDIT: if you mean the .sav has got corrupt , use a fresh copy of the sav in the battery folder , And patch a "copy" of your rom , use that patched rom
