Mario and Luigi Bower's Inside Story help with select file menu

Hello I'm new to this and wondering if any anyone could help. When I play Mario and Luigi Bower's Inside Story and I select Start Game, I go to the Select File Menu and when I'm there all the buttons doesn't work to select ???. I gone to this https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=22731.0 but nothing happen and to this https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=27617.msg466427#msg466427 but nothing happen. I have R4, NO$GBA emulator, and Windows Vista. Anyone got idea?

 

This is one of the over 400 piracy checks or AP on Mario & Luigi BIS, you'll need to patch the game to play it, on the official thread you can get the patch. If this doesn't work you'll have to either use YSmenu or get a newer flashcard (acekard 2/2i, CycloDS etc).

 

What is YSmenu? Does it work with R4? Do I need YSmenu to play Mario & Luigi BIS?

YSMenu is a firmware built for the R4 and it is launched after the R4 firmware is launched.

It is better and up-to-date than the out-dated original R4 firmware....what is your R4's Version?...

Like R4 SDHC, R4i, R4 Gold...etc.

 

Yes YSmenu will only work on they R4 original from www.r4ds.com

It should say on the card its self ?

R4 original , ysmenu will work



If it says SDHC on the packet then it won't

Oh that's an R4. Ok never mind I don't have that, sorry I'm new and I thought it was something else. So now what should I do since I don't have an R4?

I have the NO$GBA 2.6a and the USA version. I'm playing Pokemon Diamond (which has no problems) and Chrono Trigger (which had a problem with the warp time but I fix it with some codes I got from here). I just need help with getting pass the Select a File Menu after you hit Start Game. Anyone esle got idea?

Is the firmware.bin in the main folder of no$gba2.6a, And are you using the unpatched (U) rom ?

 

I don't have that firmwire thing and I'm using the rom that I download from romulation.net which I don't know if that's unpatched or patched.

I have the unpatched (U) game and I played it but now there another problem . In the beginning where I fight Bower for the first time I keep attacking him but he never attacks me and the battle never ends.
I look around here and I'm guessing I need the NO$Zoomer, am I right?

 

Unsure about this , but do you keep saying yes to the little guy TUTORIAL, Happens if keep pressing the button rapid, anser no to his qwestion

I have play it on a real DS with R4 card, But nether botherd to play it fully on the no$gba emu
