    its not like lions are endangered. I'd be more annoyed if it was tigers.

    speaking of which, a chinese man was fined and jailed last year for causing the extinction of a subspecies of tiger, he shot and ate the last one. And just to prove how seriously the chinese take conservation, he got more jail time for illegal possession of a firearm than he did for causing an entire subspecies to become extinct.
