Just thought a topic like this could be kewl. Like manga coloring,cleaned up of manga pages, or just lineart. ^^

no i ment shading the process of darkening areas to make it look as if the light is coming from one direction.
it makes drawing look better and gives life to things like clothes and other things

 

Basicly darkening it=.=

 

well yeah ;D but i wanted to be picky and darkening it implies a different action

 

Shading is the correct term for what equitypetey was implying. It looks a little "dead" so to speak, shading it will make it look loads better.

 

now that's a pic with some shading, not darkening

 

^Lol that was actually my background for a bit.

 

You just saved the JPG as a PNG... that just made it worse. You have to save the ORIGINAL as a PNG, not a pre-butchered copy.
