I was in introductions reading in this topic https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=21426.25 and all of the sudden I get this warning:

Warning: Visiting this site may harm your computer!
The website at www.romulation.net contains elements from the site doubleclick-srv.com, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.

I have never seen this before after all my time here at RomU, but I have gotten it before at other sites but never here.

Well I am not sure what ad it was at the time it threw that up which was really quick, and the ad it seems to keep changing when I've gone back to it and i've been refreshing the page to see if it would go off again, but it hasn't done it yet.

[edit] I guess its going to be a one time thing (maybe) feel free to lock this since now I know what i was and what to look for in the future.

That's not RomUlation, it sounds like you got unwittingly installed some malware that tries to trick you into buying some software to fix errors. That is *not* something that can be installed through your browser.

If you get the name of the scanner we can possibly help you remove it, though.

I think you're problem's somewhat different. When you mentioned something about "scan", do you mean the browser or an antivirus? If it's an antivirus/* , what's the name?

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see Seph's post there and yes what he said.
