Okay, let's get really silly with this one. How would you protect a game? It DOES need to exist but it doesn't need to have an AP already. You can make up your own AP like a Rick Roll AP...

How would your AP go?

All pokemon are now bidoofs! >

 

A leveling down AP. When a Pokémon reaches lvl 25, you always go one level down

 

In Elite Beat Agents, all songs are replaced by a loud, continuous beeping sound

 

Like that one on the Micheal Jackson game with that vuvuzela

 

For games like Final Fantasy:All letters are replaced by unreadable symbols with no meaning, and all and any animation is replaced by a giant LOL appearing on the screen.
For games such as Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution:All sounds are replaced by a loud, eerie sound. Also, no on screen commands or something like that.

 

For Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story

Whenever you fight. Your attacks do 0 damage. All enemies do 9999999999 damage.

 

In any mario platformer: Goombas now have the star power. FOREVER.

 

Or even worse, all Pokemon are now Luvdisc. LUVDISC.

In any game: every 3 minutes a message would pop up very slowly: "We hate you [Insert player name here]."
It would be so personal D,:

In any platformer: the enemies respawn infinitely.

 

Just like Spyro 3: Once you reach the final boss after a few weeks worth of playtime, have the game Put you back at the very beginning, kindly auto-saving for you

 

Right before the end of final fantasy, it crashes and deletes saved data
