My m3i has arrived today(had to get a exchange cuz wrong card) and when i put the firmware on it. Everything went great. It blinked when i flashed it. I started it and after it loaded there was no setup screen which was mentioned in the guide i was reading. So i was very confused. I ignored it. I then downloaded Soul Silver(cuz it sounds cool) and My Japanese coach. The everything went smooth up until i tried to start the games. i went into my system folder and clicked them constantly(waiting at least 10 minutes for both games). Nothing happened. I do think that its due to the weird background(says movie player with some weird eye thingy creature......thingy). Can anyone help me. ps-im not sure if this will be any good help solving my problem but i bought the flash card from kickgaming.com. Edit: found out the problem. i was using a old system file.
