Hello Community. I hope i did not post this into the wrong board. My problem is, that i can't open the cheat menu. The X button is there to "touch" but it won't work, but on other games it will. I got a "clean" Pkmn Black 2 Version and tested 3-4 usrcheat.dat databases but it will do no good. I hope someone here can help me with this problem. Regards Diambro
You posted in the correct place. I assume the cheat database and X option does work on other games except on Pokémon Black 2? If so, you could download a program called "R4CCE.exe" (use google search to find it), then you also need to make sure you'd downloaded the latest usrcheat.dat (you can grab it by using DS-Scene Rom Tool program, find it on filetrip.com). Then, read this topic: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=56257.0, especially the part labeled as "Finding the GAME ID to Use", and "EDITING CHEAT DATABASE". Basically you use the GAME ID you see from your PKM B2 copy using R4CCE, and use it to replace the cheat database in the USRCHEAT.dat using the same program. Hopefully doing so would help you solve your issue.
Thanks for the Answer! But i did a desperate update of the usrcheat.dat yesterday with the r4 wood tool and now it works. Still i'm gonna keep this in mind with the ID. Could be usefull in the future. Thank you!
