Hey ! Need some help. My M3 simply works with my 1Gb Micro Sd card, But it wont work with my new 2Gb Micro Sd card. I tried transferring all files from the 1Gb to the 2Gb. but says "Couldnt find Ds_Menu.dat" I have a feeling its because its not formatted When i try formatting it on Vista it says "Windows Could Not Format". I even downloaded the Pandora app that formats micros sds,but it said it couldnt find the drive or something........... I seriously need help,as i need more space to download more games......... I just bought this card, and really want to use it ???
I have an R4, but it should work the same as your M3: EVIDENCE: TAKE THAT! *lol, Phoenix Wright* http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/487128 Scroll down and take a look at XbusterZ's comment. Anyways, moving on... You shouldn't have to format your 1GB, just to make your 2GB Work. Anyways, they are 2 DIFFERENT external drives, so yeah. I have the same microchips as you! XD Well, you should download your M3's latest firmware from the site, or go to my most trusted site: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ ;D Look for the latest firmware for your M3 Simply, and download it. In the package, should be DS_Menu.dat, along with some others. Copy those files onto your M3 Simply, and download a patcher, just to make it work. *not really sure, but I think you need info.dat to run it* (Go to google and type in (Language)--->(English) *My R4 is "Chinese" so I searched: R4 Chinese to English, but lucky you, I supplied it: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/597416 OR http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=63782. After all those steps, and you get your info.dat, place it where you would normally place your games, and done! Now, slap all the games, make sure you don't copy EVERYTHING; make sure you don't replace anything either. Anyways, hope this helps!
