M3 simply firmware update?

It has been a long time since a new update for m3 simply.
Is there any thing i can do to update it myself instead of waiting for them.
Like take a cyclone ds firmware and edit it to work on my m3 simply?

i cant play the new ds games on my ds anymore without new firmware

You should look at getting a better flashcart, like a Cyclo.

 

I have a cyclo and i think there the best chip you can get out of all of them. I haven't had any trouble you can update your firmware easily and they never seem to have any problems.

 

(>< ) the thing is, i rather not waste my m3 simply (no matter how crappy it is), and buying a new one is short of out of the question (going to college, and i am paying for it out of my own pockets)

maybe the arm7 patch will work, I do not believe its an error, but its more like protection put onto the rom. Like in chrono trigger ds, even though i already patched it, i cant not get pass the first level because the warp. I go into the warp gate and it just stays in that warp space thingy forever.

Also in dragon quest 4, i can get off the boat because the event trigger does not activates.

I heard that if you use cheats, you can get pass that some how without updating firmware, but i dont understand that.

 

Then you haven't used the fixes properly then. Updating firmware will not help, they don't have included fixes. Get a usrcheat.dat from http://cheats.gbatemp.net/ and then stick it in your 'system' folder.

 

There's always the option of using YSmenu or this.

 

Thanks, ill try this when i get a chance and update you on the news of it. I dont download my cheat.data, i maunully put in the cheat codes and create a cheat.data to put in my mp3 simply, all the other codes work, so i didnt think the fixes were a problem.

 

You may have not imported then in or enabled them properly then.
