Luminous Arc 2 problem: Freezing in the fourth chapter. (Spoilers?)

Alright, so, I've gotten to the fourth chapter, (or it might be the third, I'm not one for details.) And as soon as I go into battle, Althea and Fatima talk between each other, and then Roland steps in, and it freezes when he's quoting. Does anyone know if there's a fix for this?

(Before you ask, I'm using an EDGE cart with the latest firmware, and I'm using Narin's latest cheat file.)

 

trim the rom . arm7 fix .. bla bla bla.. got so many other thing to do with the rom! can't u try it b4 asking or if u already try it pls STATE it!

 

That's very... helpful. See, I'm not totally rom savvy like others are. Also, I would like constructive help, instead of what you just gave me. Not to sound mean or anything, but if you can't offer help, then don't post.

 

Trimming the ROM wouldn't do anything. Try backing up and reformat your MicroSD. Are you using cheats on this game?

 

I'll try backing it up and reformating to see if that works. And as for cheats, no, I'm playing the game without it.
