Lost Download points

    I went to download Warcraft II (PSX)
    And then canceled the download BEFORE I started it...
    However, I still lost 500-something points...
    To be clear, the download did NOT start
    EDIT: If you need to see it in the log, to prove that no data was transfered, it happened just before I posted this

    are you using firefox, and did you cancel at the point where it asks you where you want to save it?

    Yes, I canceled at the point where it asks you to save it

    then data was sent. Firefox starts downloading as soon as you click the link, before you have even given it a filename. That is why, if you take your time browsing to where you want it saved, the speed starts off very high and drops; because it has already downloaded the first few hundred KB.
