My Alienware Aurora M9700 has an empty PCI Express card that I could use to upgrade my graphics.

I've got an NVIDIA Geforce Go 7900 GS and I need to know what is better than that and is also cost-friendly. I'm not looking to spend a whole lot here. I've read up on PCI Express cards and the mini Express ones, and looking at the PCI Express card pictures, they look too thick to fit into this slot. I looked at a manual for my laptop and it specifically said PCI Express card slot, not mini, so for now I'll assume it's right in saying that the normal ones are the correct size.

a regular PCI express card will not fit in a laptop, they're half the size of the entire machine.
