I am looking for some old but top RPG's to play on this shit laptop. anytime between the years of 1995 - 2004. I have already played diablo I & II icewind dale, quake (even though it's not RPG it's still top) and summoner. I am really aimed at games which have a summoning class (e.g. necromancer) but it's not needed.
If you like Icewind Dale you'll probably like Boulder's Gate (runs on the same engine and was developed by Bioware). If you're not against emulation any of the 16-bit final fantasy games or chrono trigger are excellent choices. Fallout 1 and 2 are great games. FF 7-9 also came out on pc. Neverwinter Nights (another Bioware game) is also a good choice. Elder's Scrolls II Daggerfall (along with number one) are for download free on their website. Along with that Morrowind is good as well. Planescape: Torment is good. System Shock and Dues Ex are good if you want something more fast paced and action. Well, thats all I can think of. 7 and 8 did. 9 didn't. they're direct ports though so pretty poor, and on modern computers its easier to emulate the PSX versions than it is to get the PC versions to run. I used to enjoy betrayal at krondor, but that is a VERY old RPG.

PHantasy Star Online Blue Burst is abandonware by Sega, so the main servers are closed. You can still play using the unofficial SCHTHack server though. Wicked fun.
