Hello people, I've been member for a while, yet have never posted on the boards, thought it would be nice to see what fellow gamers have got to say about this place.

I'm a pretty hardcore gamer, especially retro games; SNES, PS1, Sega Genesis, GBA to name some. Though my favorite gaming series is Final Fantasy, particularly fond of FF VI, best one of the lot IMHO.

As far as I can tell there isn't another user anywhere with the same name, I've checked every major and minor Instant Messenger service, all the most used email clients, it really is one of a kind. creme eggs are the bomb man too bad they only come out for like 4 months a year I would buy them all year round and stuff myself if I could. Love your taste of gaming goodness too but my fondest memories are of final fantasy vii, seeing as though I only just recently got my hands on vi like last year, Do you think there will ever be a "final" final fantasy.

 

I kind of hope there is Sasquatch, it's been downhill since IX (9) and I'm not getting my hopes up for XIII either, so I'm sort of hoping they will one day end the Final Fantasy franchise and go forward into new and unknown territory in gaming.

 

from here on I am abbreviating you to cek as it is just too long, dude you and I know that that will never happen final fantasy is a cash cow for square enix and just like the cash cows cousin the dairy cow they will continue milking the franchise for quite some time. Or until they go bankrupt trying to make another cg final fantasy like there first effort.

 

you know a franchise I could really get used to seeing semi regular intervals of is vagrant story from the playstation that game was pretty sweet I think I mite have to revisit it when I get the chance.

 

I liked Vagrant Story too, to bad there weren't any sequel to it eh?

Also that game seems to be a game that was supposed to have been destined for the PS2, the visuals, the gameplay, it would have been a major hit if it were atleast remade though

There's been talk in the gaming community for a while now about the remake of Vagrant Story, if it does happen it most likely will be an updated version ported to the PSP.

I liked V.S. quite a bit and would love to see it updated, there were a lot of faults with the way it was done on the PSX graphically, the controls and the camera angles made it a bit annoying at times too, it's redeeming factor was the awesome story, one of the best of the Ivalice Alliance stories. ( FF Tactics is probably the best story line in all of the FF games, particularly in the Ivalice Alliance series.)
