LOL and Carnival Games help

I can't connect to my friends's DS with LOL. and... When I load Carnival games it says it can't access the sav file, even though it created one when I loaded it for the first time. Please help!

 

I remember there were some issues because of that LOL game. Ah, well...

What flashcart? There may be a chance it is incompatible with LOL wifi at the moment. Also, I don't think he would be using a emulator, wifi is nearly impossible on them at the moment.

 

First time ever on here !!!!! so if I'm doing anything wrong by answering/asking etc please let me know as not sure how to use these sites even though I know how to 'get' the games etc - I have the same problem with this game - created a sav file but can't access the game - in fact it's the first game I've ever had a problem with so any answers greatly appreciated?? PS - whats LOL wifi ???

 

LOL is a game. Going Wi Fi is paying with other people that are a certain distance away from you. At least that's how I get it.

 

Or using a wireless router to go wifi or online. If you have the same problem with this game, why did you ask what game it was?

 

i had same problem with carnival games, i just got a r4ds and kept getting the save message, then i went on mininova.org and asked for help and this is what they sent me..... hope it helps......


it nothing to do with your card firewall it the one in the nds file
i had the same problem it could be to do with the firewall software on the games try opening the file and replacing the fire file find all you need to do this from

it works fine for me you can use this for other games as well not just this one ive patched loads of my games that didnt work and all workfine now hope this helps

 

Didn't mean to sound thick but didn't know LOL was a game - I was referring to Carnival Games - told you I'm not up on this stuff - only just know how to get the games downloaded and onto DS - I know nothing about above reply ie patching etc so looks like I'm stuck as regards being able to play Carnival Games - I wish I was younger and understood all this stuff maybe i wouldn't sound so daft - think I'll keep away from forums from now on so I don't upset/offend anyone - only came across this forum answer by accident when I googled for info - just thought I might get some help on how to overcome the problem of not being able to get past the sav and be able to play the game !! SORRY

 

Usually the patch file comes with a readme of some sort that will help you, otherwise it would be a simple executable .exe file, which asks you to load the ROM file that needs patching, as well as the patching file.

 

I have just been searching for more help on this problem and came across a site called www.mininova.org that has carnival games on No.2443 which said it was updated etc for R4DS - downloaded it etc and it works perfectly on my DS - lets me straight into game !! Hope this helps you others with the same problem and from a 50yr old non-technophobe woman I don't think I've done too bad on this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Loonylion for saying it was ok - I don't know how to use these forum things properly yet and after my 'problems' today don't think I'll be using them again !!! just thought I'd try and help others with the game problem and don't know what I can/can't do or say on these sites so think I'll give them up as a bad job !!! - seems if you know what you can/can't do they could be fun but seems too much like hard work finding out all the rules & regs even though I've enjoyed answering/replying to the original question.

 

Hey, just an addition to the original message. The problem I am having with LOL is that it can't connect to anyone, not even someone right beside me. Thank you for the help with Carnival Games...it is now working quite fine!

 

Yes, it may not be compatible with wifi on your flashcart, what flashcart do you have?

I've got LOL on v1.18 R4DS, it doesn't work, fix should be 1.19...
