I don't know how to clear the cookies on Firefox and every time I log in I set to be logged in forever, but recently if I close my Firefox window I'm logged out of RomUlation.

Nobody else uses Firefox on this computer, and nobody knows how to clear the cookies on Firefox anyway.....

This doesn't happen on Youtube; I'm always logged on there.

I almost couldn't remember my login details today because of this. What should I do?

Check to see what you have as a rule in firefox.
If it is set to Allow For Session, the cookies are cleared on close.
You might have youtube set to Allow (which means forever, until you delete the cookies), and set this one to Allow For Session.

But lately, I've been getting logged out for no apparent reason as well...

I opened up the site this morning and noticed while it said I was logged in on the main site, when I went to the forums it said I wasn't. But right now after work, I'm still logged in correctly.

So ya, it's probably not an issue with your cookie settings, and just something that got screwed up when Seph was playing around.

Browsers do not affect the logging in error. It's sorta like the timing out error we had back when. I know you peeps remember that, well it's something like that here. I think the timing relay point is off between the main site and the forum. It's just speculation, but it's a calibration error. Nothing to worry too much about, more of an inconvenience than an actual threat.

Quite, although it did take me about 2 hours to figure out my password.
And, yes, the same thing is happening to me.

Yes, it is happening to all the users so far. Excluding Drake, apparently as he stated above.
I think the sites timing is off still, and thus this is happening. Make sure to use your security question wisely to be able to retrieve your pass should you forget it. Of course if you forget your E-mail activation pass, you'd be doubly screwed :p

Bottom line: This should be a temporary issue, not coming to a server crisis. Just grin and bear it for the time being. Also, thanks for being patient on it as well.

It got better for a while, but tonight it's been really bad. Every 2-3 page views then I seem to log out.

I never have had this problem. Is it just certain accounts or are a lot of people having this problem?

Though, I do log into the forums all of the time and not the main site, if that matters?

Not sure, I tried to repeat certain actions to try and find a pattern or something that I am doing to cause it to happen, but I haven't been able to yet.

Kind of funny, but it logged me out just as I went to post this post! :)
