how do you change 'local time' on your forum profile, because mine says some other time and there's no option to change it.

    Go to Profile
    Then Look and Layout

Then change the hour offset. Like EST and GMT -5, so you put -5 in it, etc.

    It's not working correctly...

I put in +10 and it's an hour ahead...

    GMT +10 is australian time.

Server time is GMT +1 not GMT, so you need to adjust the offset by 1.

Um...no I meant I would prefer to set it to australian time.

I typed in "10" and it was an hour more (12am-1am).

And typing plus has no effect...

    :(

    Wait...I'm utterly confused...

All I need to know is how to set it so GMT+10 time is displayed, as I post, it is 1am :)

Yes, as I said, you need to adjust it by one. Since server time is 1 hour ahead of GMT, you need to enter 9 into the box, because you want to be 10 hours ahead of GMT, which is 9 hours ahead of server time.

    I entered 9...

    It's still an hour ahead, it's 1:20am now and it's showing 2:20am :(

Server is not GMT +1, it's UTC. So the correct time for Western Australia would be +8.

I tried it, the time is wrong still.

I typed in "+8" and it's not right, an hour forward, and just 8 is also wrong.

The time is always an hour forward...could it be that the system doesn't take into account of day light saving's times ?

    (I think ours finished)

If 8 is an hour forward, try 7.

    Ithink I finally got it...

I was confused because the times I posted do not match the time it actually is.
