I wanna watch some good anime in HD in BluRay on my plasma TV with my laptop hooked up to it!! Yes, the TV is a 1080p.. But the audio and video keep getting gradually out of sync by a handful of seconds, usually 2-5 secs. It gets worse when the video gets graphic-intensive, and to the point (especially in intros) where audio gets choppy. I experimented with Media Classic Player, but it didn't help too much. Well, my brother is dumb and won't let me use the TV right now, but I was able to get CoreAVC.. Do you think it's going to help? I also use Haali Media Splitter, ffdshow, and CCC Codec Pack or whatever it's called, should that help (Played .MKV with CoreAVC enabled, AC3 and H264 ffdshow encoders disabled, on a 720p monitor laptop, but that obviously won't help any) It must be that my RAM is slow or my CPU just simply isn't strong enough, but I'm open for any suggestions..
I seem to have the same issues with 1080p mkv files. And yeah, MPC did a whole lot of nothing, which seems to be everyone's solution.
Problem for me has been solved by using KMPlayer, as I have Google'd the answer. Somewhat The audio goes out of sync with the video, but it isn't as horrible, and I could easily pause the video and play again, bringing it back to sync (which can prove inconvenient sometimes). Do I have to have some sort of settings on this player? And also, I may try out PotPlayer.. Post Merge: [time]1304510158[/time] Alright, now I got the PotPlayer. Tested it for a few minutes, and I have had LITTLE TO NO SYNC PROBLEMS WITH IT!! I played 1080p on a 720p MONITOR!! But I used the 1080p episode of the first Madoka Magica anime. I'll find out more after I get home from school.
For me, VLC was the initial problem. Not sure if the OP was using VLC to begin with or not, but I was experiencing sync issues with VLC to start with.
